On February 28, I turned 30 years old. The past 30 years has been a great adventure, and a small part of my life's journey has included some time spent in the outdoors. While I grew up with a love for fishing, I added to that a passion for hunting in the last several years. I decided to start this blog to record some of the adventures I've had in the past, as well as those I'll have in the future. Now, being a proud daddy of three little girls, I'm not sure in the next few years how often i'll be on the lake or in the woods, but the cool thing is that my oldest daughter who already loves the outdoors will be the first to tell you that "It's not about the fish (or the deer)! It's about spending time together and enjoying the beauty of God's creation."
